It was a long time ago, so it was high time to share my knowledge again…
In the end I only had 3 participants, which was good, because in the run-up to the workshop a tendon in my right shoulder almost completely tore. So few participants was a blessing. (Meanwhile the operation is over and recovery has begun).
One man came all the way from America for the workshop, who had already visited me when he was passing through Belgium, and 2 Belgian ladies.
It was a nice 4-days, with great results, I hope they learned a lot, if it is new you get a lot of information at once, that is why I created a 6-page document, so they can refer to it later.
I even managed to make a small work, I have a thing for red robins and once fell in love with the birds made in mosaic when I visited the Basilica of Aquileia in Italy, maybe when I’m healed I’ll make a series. I guess that’s where my love for the Roman mosaic style started…
