Mosaic is accessible to everyone

Disabled people also find it very pleasant to work with mosaics. In ‘The Circle’ in Antwerp I recently started a series of 10 lessons. In this way, the knowledge can first be built up. We developed several simple projects that were feasible for all participants. Everyone in his/her own way because that’s how it should be personally.
In this series we first worked with foam sheets because they are easy to cut to explain the basic rules about mosaic, then we made a mirror with tiles all around, in collaboration with the wood department we are now working on a sofa and a large format of the logo. Other options include lampshades with puzzle pieces or flower pots made of quick-build bricks.
