Abstract 3D work

We will make this abstract 3D work with mainly 1 color, within which different gradations in tones can be used.

Of course, the first job is to make the mold yourself in sturdy polystyrene foam.

Then we will make samples to see what works for you and these choices determine the further course of your work.

House number

A house number in mosaic is beautiful and durable at the same time. And of course clearly visible, legible.
Depending on how many numbers you have to make, there is a price difference for these workshops.

Format 35 x 21 cm: 1 digit and 2 digits: € 253
Format 35 x 29 cm: 3 numbers: € 298 (come an extra day )

Color numbers and background can be chosen according to your taste, so that it goes well with your windows.

The numbers are made in smalti and the background in marble.
The mosaic is made in a metal frame.

The theory of color
applied to a modern mosaic

We study the theory of the interaction between colors. After a short theoretical explanation, you get to work yourself to learn to mix colors in such a way that a vibrating surface is created.
The focus is on the use of color as applied in mosaics and is therefore different from the ‘normal’ color theory.
We learn how to blend one color into another.
The result will be an abstract work measuring 30 x 30 cm.
