Even now it’s hard to believe the world would allow such priceless biodiversity to be severely damaged, even destroyed at all, much less for such a paltry amount of money in the big picture. I don’t understand it. It seems the human race has lost its grip on reality/sanity. And we continue to breed like rats even though the planet’s major ecological systems are starting to break down from the impacts of human overpopulation.
