Climate, Mind, and Behavior
Public Node Active 7 years, 4 months ago
The Garrison Institute’s Climate, Mind and Behavior (CMB) program explores the human dimensions of climate change with the intention of developing and enhancing activities that reduce green house gas (GHG) emissions while promoting individual and community resilience. CMB seeks to develop human resilience to the negative impacts of climate change, especially for those living in the most climate vulnerable communities. At the program’s heart is the understanding that contemplative wisdom and practices have a powerful positive impact on environmental thinking and behavior. Contemplative practices also build personal resilience in the face of climate crises.
